Jan Fransen

Jan Fransen is Head of Education and Training and Deputy Director of the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), part of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). He has over 20 years of experience in research, education and consultancy in the field of local economic development, with a particular interest in, among others, small firms, innovation systems, global value chains and labour-based technologies.
